Our upcoming Project ECHO session, Supporting African American Patients at the End of Life, will examine barriers to providing care, focusing on examples that include health system mistrust and reliance on strong faith-based principles. It will also highlight special considerations and best practices for supporting Black/African American patients and families in advance care planning and explore strategies to overcoming barriers to care.
