Program Description:  This live, knowledge-based webinar will focus on the basic principles of pain assessment and management with a focus on pain at the end of life. The importance of a comprehensive pain assessment for adequate pain relief will be discussed.  Also, barriers that impede pain assessment and treatment will be presented.  The importance of working collaboratively with the Veteran, their family, and interdisciplinary colleagues for optimal use of medications and non-medical interventions will be included in this training module.
