The Calvert Hospice We Honor Veterans program, a Level 5 We Honor Veterans Partner, has partnered with The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration to help ensure that our local Vietnam veterans are recognized for their service and sacrifice. On March 29, we were honored to recognize Vietnam veterans throughout Calvert County at our three local senior centers, nursing homes, CalvertHealth Medical Center Infusion Center, and Asbury Solomons. Vietnam veterans were presented with a commemorative pin and a proclamation signed by President Donald Trump along with other gifts that included a bumper sticker and a card from the Calvert Hospice team. A team of four Calvert Hospice staff members and four Veteran to Veteran volunteers participated in making and delivering the gifts.
