COVID-19 Care Packages to Homeless Local Veterans

Hospice Partner

Grane Hospice Care Altoona, Altoona, PA

Submitted by Grane Hospice Care in Altoona, PA

On September 4, we met with our local VSO Craig Swineford to present 30 COVID-19 care packages for local Veterans. Most of the Veterans stopping by Craig’s office are stopping by for support for housing/medical/financial burdens. Our 30 COVID-19 care packages consisted of items such as:  Pill holder’s masks, hand sanitizer, combs, candies, first aid kit, soap, Chap Stick and a “Thank You for Your Service and Commitment” postcard. Every Veteran that stops into Craig’s office over the next few weeks will receive one of these bags.
