Rochester Manor Center Executive Director, Teale Howe and Mr. Ed Parker with his letter of gratitude from New Hampshire Governor Christopher Sununu.

Genesis Rochester Manor (New Hampshire) is home to an extraordinary gentleman, Veteran, and WWII POW – Mr. Edward Parker. Mr. Parker was captured and held as a WWII Prisoner of War when he was only 18 years old. He opened up and shared his unique WWII POW story with Rochester Manor Center’s Executive Director, Social Worker, Admissions Director, Center Nurse Executive, and additional center team members who were honored to listen. Mr. Parker was recognized by the State of New Hampshire and New Hampshire Governor Christopher T. Sununu on POW Remembrance Day. Governor Sununu presented a letter of gratitude and respect in honor of the many sacrifices Mr. Parker made for our country.
