Collie Turner, Founder and Owner of Heroic Gardens, partnered with Angelic Health’s Women’s Vet-to-Vet Café members to demonstrate plants’ healing powers to Veterans. She led them in an educational and stress-reducing activity about sowing their plants. Collie started Heroic Gardens out of a familial connection with the military and a deep appreciation for the power of nature. Once she became aware of the staggering numbers of Veterans struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, she founded Heroic Gardens to guide Veterans through their healing process.
