Supporting Military Veterans with PTSD at the End of Life: Video Illustrations

Join VA subject matter experts as they help prepare hospice staff and others working with military Veterans at the end-of-life who may be demonstrating behaviors or thinking consistent with PTSD. With the use of video vignettes, the presenters will describe signs of PTSD in older Veterans with advanced illness and will discuss applied strategies for reacting when signs of PTSD are observed. Finally, consideration will be given to techniques for assisting Veterans who are living with both cognitive impairment and PTSD symptoms.
