Deborah Grassman, a hospice nurse practitioner with thirty years of experience providing care at the VA, is the founder of Opus Peace, a non-profit organization that provides educational programs and self-help tools. In this webinar, Grassman presents alongside Opus Peace Executive Director, Angie Snyder MSN, MHA, CHPN, for a presentation on managing caregiver distress.

This webinar discusses:

  • Biological and neurological processes underpinning Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Causes of Secondary-Traumatic Stress and techniques for combatting this distress
  • Self-Care Inventory for evaluation of Physical, Emotional, Psychological, and Spiritual self-care strategies
