During WHV’s Fall 2024 Partner Networking Call attendees came together to receives updates on the most recent news from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Alliance for Care at Home, and WHV partners. Highlights from this call include:

  • VA Updates from Ryan Weller, National Program Manager of Palliative & Hospice Care at the VA, including:
    • letter from Dr. Scott Shreve to WHV
    • announcement of VA’s new National Director for Hospice and Palliative Care, Dr. Cari Levy
    • discussion of VA’s transition away from Decedent Affairs and creation of SAMS
